  • Biography
I am so excited about beginning my 24th year in education. I have been at Margaret Elementary since the doors opened in August 2010. Margaret Elementary is a place that we hope students will not only grow academically but socially and emotionally as well.

Our school character initiative is "The Mustang Way". This means we strive daily to be respectful, positive, and motivated. This initiative is reinforced through monthly classes using Core Essential Values lessons.

I graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor's degree in elementary education. I received a Master's degree in school counseling from the University of West Alabama. I live in the Odenville community with my husband, Dale and our two daughters, Anna (a 2022 SCCHS graduate) and Halle (a student at OMS). We also have three cats.

My door is always open. Let me know if I can help in any way.
